If you are a PS3 owner like me, you are probably still getting accustomed to the Revolution map pack for Black Ops 2, but a new leak has appeared, creating some rumors concerning the next map pack to be introduced for Black Ops 2 fans.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II Uprising will include four new multiplayer maps: Encore, Magma, Vertigo, and Studio. Apparently, Vertigo was the name of a map cut from Modern Warfare 2’s playlist, so if this information is correct, we could be seeing a map similar to Highrise from MW2, but what is more appealing to me, is the possibility that Studio will be a reimagined adaptation of Firing Range from the first Black Ops. The sincerity of this information remains to be seen, but the possibility of playing on a version of Firing Range once again is exciting!
In addition with the four new multiplayer maps, Uprising will also introduce Mob of the Dead, a new zombie experience that may take place on San Francisco’s Alcatraz Island. While all of this is just speculation from a supposed leak, we may not have to wait much longer to hear a response from Activision. Uprising has a release date of April 16th for the 360. And as these things usually progress, PS3 and PC users will most likely have access to Uprising around a month after.
