Majora’s Mask live action film shows Skull Kid’s moments before the game

Today, a live action video focusing on the moments just before Majora’s Mask was released, and it is absolutely phenomenal. Directed by Jared Potter, the short film highlights the actions of the Skull Kid just before the game takes place, showcasing the events that led this character to the evil mask that consumed him. Certain familiar characters such as the Happy Mask Salesman, the Great Fairy, and even Link are brilliantly depicted and add amazing depth to the film which successfully spreads the dark tones which lurk in the game. Make sure you check out and like the film’s Facebook page! I wouldn’t mind seeing more short films such as this one in the future.

THE SKULL KID, a harmless but troublesome imp, has been cast out of the city of Clock Town. Deep within the lost woods he must face the harsh realities of his banishment. There, amongst the trees, an ancient evil has also begun to stir, seeking out a creature suitable to become its puppet.
