Sledgehammer Games, who created the multiplayer experience for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, may be working on the next Call of Duty title. According to a job listing on Linked In, the company is “working on the next Call of Duty game,” and is searching for a Weapons & Vehicle Artist to help. In addition, several other temporary jobs have also been listed to assist with the game-building process.

Rumors have suggested that Call of Duty will move through a three-year development cycle now, with Treyarch controlling the 2015 release. However, not many details have been revealed. It would make sense considering Infinity Ward has covered Ghosts, leaving the other two in line for future titles.

Note: The job listing has been changed slightly, indicating that Sledgehammer Games is working on “a next-gen Call of Duty game” instead of “the next Call of Duty game.” Whether the change is significant or not is unknown.
