With the Call of Duty Championship qualifiers beginning very soon, Optic Gaming is one team that has had to struggle through multiple losses. In what felt like a domino effect, the changes rolled out after BigTymer announced his retirement and his new place as the team’s coach. Scumpi’s departure left the team even more fragmented. Clayster’s move to the team seemed to brighten Optic’s chances to build a championship team, and with the addition of Parasite, several people predicted Optic to be the team to finally knock Complexity from its pedestal. However, both Parasite and Ricky voluntarily left the team just after the complete roster had been confirmed, leaving Optic to rebuild once again.
Now with the addition of MBoze and Saints, Optic hopes to prepare for the $1 million Call of Duty Championship.
