A new portable N64 exists… and you may be able to eventually buy one!

Portable retro consoles have been sporadically popping up now that people can get their hands on and manipulate the technology, but now a very nice-looking portable N64 has been made… and the creator plans on making more to sell.

There has been no word (that I can find) about how much the portable console will be or how many will actually be made, but I know for sure that I would love to get my hands on one. The console utilizes a custom controller-shaped case with hand grips, a 3.5″ screen, Rumble Pak, Expansion Pak, a GameCube analog stick, 4 hours of battery life, and internal memory.

And as you can see from the pictures and video, the portable consoles uses original N64 cartridges… so no shaky emulating. Bungle, the creator of the console, stated in his YouTube video, “This is the prototype for the kind of N64 portable I’ll be making to sell. I hope to make a few of these at least. If you’re interested in owning one of these, subscribe to my channel or join the [Bacman] forum to find out when the next one will be finished.”
