BioWare just loves revealing tidbits of information about Inquisition. It seems they love to see their fans drool. Inquisition is sure to deliver some amazing characters, and now, BioWare has released a video highlighting the Iron Bull who happens to be voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.
I admit that I was a bit skeptical when I heard the news. I’ve seen Freddie’s movies, and I’ve heard him as Mass Effect’s James Vega, but I couldn’t imagine his voice fueling a character like the Iron Bull. Vega was a young, hot-headed, determined soldier who loved wearing tight shirts. Freddie’s voice fit very well with his character, and he became one of my favorites in the 3rd game. However, the Iron Bull felt like something else entirely.
The qunari that we’ve seen like Sten from Origins and the Arishok from Dragon Age 2 both followed a very strict code. They were like aliens within a world that epitomized violent disorder. So when the Iron Bull was announced for Inquisition, I was intrigued. Were we about to earn another badass code-bound creature? It seems not. Iron Bull appears to be a bit out of the ordinary, and it may give us an interesting insight into the culture and religion.
It’s obvious that this is going to be a character that is fun to interact with, particularly as a leader, and it will be interesting to see what morals are brought to the table as the story progresses.
