Ubisoft’s casual game Just Dance is slated to be an official discipline at the Electronic Sports World Cup. Qualifiers for the competition began for the game on June 25th and will last until September 21st. Participators can take part in the World Dance Floor game mode or other official events that will be announced in the future.
The finals for the event will be held on the ESWC stage of the Paris Games Week convention from October 30th to November 1st. “For the 11th edition of the ESWC, we are very proud to widen the definition of eSports with Ubisoft. Competitive gaming has to welcome all kinds of layers, has to be developed in partnership with the games publishers, and has to showcase the most advanced technologies which link the body to the game,” said ESWC founder Matthieu Dallon. Competition details will be revealed on July 10th. For more information, visit the Just Dance World Cup website.
