November has been the speculated release month for the updated versions of GTA V for a while now, but Rockstar has officially released more details surrounding the new release date and more upgraded features.
Grand Theft Auto V will be released on November 18, 2014 for PS4 and Xbox One, with the PC version to follow on January 27, 2015. In an attempt to make GTA V’s world more immersive, Rockstar has promised a range of technical upgrades and features not found in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. These features include:
- New weapons, vehicles, and activities
- Additional wildlife
- Denser traffic
- New foliage system
- Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more
The updated versions will also include more radio selections, introducing over 100 new songs across the game’s radio stations. Also new enhancements made to GTA Online include increased player count which can contain up to 30 players on PS4 and Xbox One. Also, all players who preorder the game will get $1,000,000 in-game bonus cash to spend in both Story Mode and Online (GTA$500K each for your Story Mode and for your GTA Online in-game bank accounts).
New exclusive content will be available as well, including the Dukes, the Dodo Seaplane, and a faster Blimp. New activities include wildlife photography, new shooting range challenges, and new weapons. Rockstar has also confirmed that existing players can transfer their online characters and progression to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
